✊🏼 The Oakland Athletics tweeted a statement in support of players who kneel during the national anthem moments after their rookie catcher Bruce Maxwell, became the first major league baseball player to do so.
"The Oakland A's pride ourselves on being inclusive. We respect and support all of our players' constitutional rights and freedom of expression," the team tweeted Saturday.
Catcher and rookie Bruce Maxwell became the first major league baseball player to kneel during the national anthem Saturday night, one day after President Trump attacked NFL players who did the same.
Trump said at a campaign rally Friday that people should walk out of football games if they see players protesting.
"When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem - the only thing you could do better is if you see it, even if it's one player, leave the stadium," Trump said. "I guarantee things will stop."
He also said owners should fire players that refuse to stand during the anthem.
"Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. He is fired,'" Trump said.
NFL players and owners have roundly condemned Trump's comments.
NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial violence last NFL season.
I want Trump and his supporters to realize the reason why our people are protesting not how they are doing it. The fact that us doing a silent protest is more important to you than racism in this country, a country that continues to oppress and invalidate black people and other people of color. A country founded on colonialism and genocide. A country founded on white supremacy and dehumanization. However, our black knee on a field, filled with black bodies for your entertainment and satisfaction, makes us “son of a bitches”. Think again. #donaldtrump#racism#whitesupremacy#kaepernick#istandwithkaepernick#blackvoices#silentprotest#nfl#nba

For those of u who are new.; welcome to the ZOdiac family. On my YouTube channel, I post mostly self improvement lifestyle tutorials. (skincare routines, hairstyle how to's etc) but I also have a few prank videos on my channel that on the surface are for entertainment, but my goal w/ those pranks was to ultimately challenge societal norms, break stereotypes & encourage dialogue about race, culture, & gender.
In general, my YouTube videos are designed to inspire young people like yourself to build self confidence & to live your best life in all aspects. If you think you'd like to learn more tap the link in my bio & be sure to subscribe. I have a lot of great content in store for you guys!💯
Note: every single social experiment prank I've ever done has has been 110% real & 200% embarrassing af. I approached real strangers & improvised my pick up without any idea of what I would say beforehand, it was an adrenaline rush for sure lol but the general lesson is this: approach what you want in life with passion & determination. Sometimes life will give you a "yes" other times life will give you a "no" but as long as you keep your focus and pursue things passionately you can eventually achieve any goal that you make for yourself- Even if it's as primal & low brow as getting a random strangers phone number lol.
I'm in so much pain right now I can't study and I hate literature is so dumb can lady Macbeth deal with her own emotional breakdowns I have enough myself she ain't special. - Cat 🐈

Pass the blunt
Two Wehrmacht soldiers giving a black French colonial soldier a cigarette. Could be stages I am not sure but you can see a look of curiosity on the faces of the soldiers, who rarely ever saw someone that colour and contradiction to what they were indoctrinated to be. This picture is special because of the insane contrast.
