When you face a problem, are you a person who analyzes each and every tiny way you can "fix" it?
And chances are, most of you reading this can relate.
We have been taught that we can solve problems by focusing on them. By playing imaginary scenarios over and over. By fixating on what went wrong in the first place, and how you could have done something differently.
We have been led to believe if you haven't found your solution yet, you're not thinking about it hard enough.
But what would happen if we just let the damn thing go?
What would happen if we released it out of our minds and focused on what is going right instead of what is going terribly wrong.
When you focus on a problem, it seems to grow bigger, doesn't it? It grows so big you feel it course through your entire being until you are filled with dread or anxiety.
But when you focus on something that is going right, you feel some peace. You begin to feel hope, joy, excitement.
What you focus on, you bring about.
So here's your little reminder that agonizing over your problem will not solve it.
It is what it is and you can either ride it out in chaos or peace. Your choice.
My recommendation? Choose the latter. 🙃
I'm ready for that push. I'm ready to have something that takes hours to achieve -- HOURS OF FOCUS!
A year ago, @bamfitnyc and I made a huge trek with only a few hours to do it. We were told we wouldn't be able to... GUESS WHAT, WE DID IT! 💪🏽 Set your mind for something and DO IT ~ 4 days until my #marathon
