Happy Sunday 😁 I have been getting a lot of people asking how often I workout and what I eat. The short answer is, about three times a week for 45 min to an hour.... of actual working out 😁I don't do cardio because I like to build muscle, everyone is different and specific body types need different types of training:) I tend to stick to the machines for lower body and free weights for upper body:) @armbrustdylan of @armbrustprogym 4 years ago told me if you want a great 🍑butt,bridges are the way to go:) and yes I love them , they work:) as far as eating goes:) I eat everything in moderation, except fast food and I never drink soda of any kind😳😁 Starbucks is my weakness😉 although I'm going to try and cut back to three a week😂😂😂 the whip cream is killing me:)) and the only way to a flat tummy is diet 😫😬🙃 and I love butter whip cream and popcorn😊but other then that i try to always eat healthy and I drink protein just about everyday:)) and tons of water:) it is the fountain of youth😁😁😁😛😛 I try and stay positive even when I'm having a bad day :) and the gym ALWAYS. Anderson has been a little under the weather(😢) and my attention has been 100% on him which means it feels I’m behind and “falling short” in every other area at the moment. But ya know what? I’m doing my best. Being a Momma is my number 1 priority and when other important things (fitness included) take a back seat because of that, it is nothing to feel bad about. Just a Sunday reminder that you can handle anything that is thrown your way this week. Whether it's rude comments from trollers or shade from ladies you thought were part of your IG Babe Squad, you got this. Regardless of who it is or what is said, let's just remember to be kind because we're all human. We all have feelings. Yes, IG has helped me grow some thick skin, but it still stings when you hear that your "IG friends" make hurtful comments behind your back. So unnecessary. We're grown ass women. Act like it, people! Be kind. Support each other. Cheer for each other. Send compliments. I don't blame the skepticism, I had it too. My doubt came from just being uneducated so I wanted to help clear some misconceptions about coaching:
1) You only make a good living at it if you got in early!
FALSE: With Beachbody's Comp Structure, every coach that joins is at the top of their own organization. If you don't have an organization below you it's just because you haven't built one *yet!* I joined almost 2 years after coaching was launched and I make more than many of those who joined at the very beginning.
2) You have to invest hundreds of dollars to make any income.
FALSE: It costs $39.95 to start your business and have access to everything Beachbody offers. After that, there is just a $15.95 monthly website fee. You can make commissions whether you've ever bought anything or not. Most will spend $40 on a dinner or a shirt without a second thought versus investing in a business that could change their life both physically and financially.
3) You have to be a fitness expert or atleast look like one!
FALSE: The majority of our Top 10 coaches over the years have been hard-working people from all different professions and backgrounds. They were just on a fitness journey and wanted to support and inspire others along the way.
4) I'm a parent and I work full-time so I can't do it!
FALSE: If you have time to read this, then you're able to make time for this. I was there too...a wife, mom, MT and instructor while building my business on top of it. Most Top Coaches have built their businesses while parenting and working full-time. One of our 2 time Top Coaches, Wayne Wyatt, built while raising 6 kids and working full time as an orthodontist...I'd say he's pretty busy!
