Make no excuses and work hard!
Throughout each year every bodybuilder has adversities, challenges, ups and downs. For me, this year was a hard year, but a great one. I grew as a person and I learned more about myself and my body. I know the Olympia prejudging Friday night I didn't come in as I would have liked. A true athlete and professional sees their weaknesses and they make changes. We fine tune and bring it harder the next day. Our bodies change every hour, even every minute. I will learn from my experiences and bring it harder and better next year.
My goal is always number 1!

I GAINED 40 POUNDS! 😵 "I want to lose that last 10,15,20,50 lbs"
Quit focusing on weight...it means NADDA, ZILTCH.. Heck gaining 40 pound a was the best thing I've ever done for myself! ♥️🙏🏼 Here's a couple things that gaining 40 pounds did for my body, mind & soul... BODY:
I'm pretty sure the photo tells a bigger story than my words could, but let's just say that when I started loving my body...it started loving me back! I re-gained my menstrual cycle, my hair finally stared to grow back, my skin is clearer than it ever has been, the list could literally go on and on... MIND:
Our minds literally do control everything. If our mental health is not right, everything else is off. My mental health has been a work in progress, and I still do have off days [hello welcome to human-hood] but I no longer question who I am, I now know what balance looks in my life and how to achieve it.. [trial and error]... SOUL:
I finally feel connected to myself again. I know this might sound weird, but I literally felt like an alien living in my body. My relationship with food was so distorted, it threw all my relationships off. I often resorted to isolated nights in my bedroom from 4pm until I went to sleep..I robbed myself from community with anyone.
QUIT focusing on the scale, it means NOTHING!
Changing for the better really is simple. [KISS =keep it simple stupid]
Focus on what makes you feel most balanced, healthy and FREE. Focus on something that you can maintain LONG-TERM....that's it. 🤗
No one else is going to do it for you.
No one else cares as much as you do because they are not living in your body.
The choice is yours... Tag someone who needs to see this!
