Being all alone somewhere like Rainbow Mountain is spectacular. It felt like we were the first explorers- discovering it for the first time. Glowing and untouched during a frozen sunrise. I couldn’t feel my face or fingers when I took this 😅
If your dreams don‘t scare you, they‘re not big enough.
I call this capture „wonderland“ because it shows a place where the austrian empress Sissi spent a lot of time! And her life was magic!
saw more hot waterfalls this November than in the rest of my life combined. that's a bit like an obscure sports stat though, because up until the past few weeks I had seen maybe one. this sneaky little oasis was all Andrea, a hundred or so miles north of the border it was our last stop before plodding the rest of the way, home for her, to Calgary. I hope some of you find this place, but that will take a bit of research, which I promise is part of the fun. people are protective of natural springs and for good reason, I've seen some of my favourites become overwhelmed by traffic and garbage. be responsible, leave the place cleaner than you found it, respect the local custom, fuck off with the glass and enjoy yourself. if there's a donation box, try to donate, no one is stealing your money, someone is trying to make everyones experience a better one. in closing, and of course most importantly, always remember cardinal rule number 167; it's not that hard not to be an asshole.
