What’s it like to take a Graceland Excursions trip to Tupelo, Mississippi – Elvis’ birthplace? Check it out! First you’ll stop at Tupelo Hardware, where Gladys Presley purchased a guitar for her son. Then you’ll check out several Elvis hotspots in Tupelo, including Fairpark, where he performed Homecoming concerts in 1956 and 1957, and Johnnie’s Drive-In, where Elvis enjoyed burgers and barbecue with his pals. Next, it’s on to the Elvis Presley Birthplace, where you can tour the home where Elvis was born, go to church like the Presleys, check out three Elvis statues, and imagine what it was like for a young King of Rock ‘n’ Roll to grow up in this North Mississippi town. But there’s so much more to experience – book your Graceland Excursions trip to Tupelo today! Go to Graceland.com/Excursions.

You can choose to drown in your pain and sadness, you can float or you can swim. You taught me to “swim” and I’m determined to help others keep swimming too in your honor. Friends and Family: I established this scholarship in memory of my dad who passed away 3 years ago today of congestive heart failure. He was a lifelong learner and educator. It brings me so much happiness to keep it going and be a blessing to someone else. Any donation to it is greatly appreciated. You can click the link in my bio and Go to “College and University Initiatives” then go to “School of Arts and Sciences” and select “Charles M. Brooks Scholarship in English”. #RIPDAD#UniversityofMemphis#Memphis
As with most everything, design evolves. This is my latest take on soap trays for @cabsoapandsundries gift sets. I took the curves out of my last version and came up with this design for a small test batch of four. The idea was to improve efficiency of production as well as to reduce the likelihood of destroying blanks due to the forces of the router table and sanders.
